AhlulBayt News Agency - The Egyptian authorities exceptionally opened on Monday the Rafah crossing that links Egypt with Gaza to allow the entry of a dead Palestinian’s body.
According to Quds Press, the Egyptian authorities opened Rafah crossing to allow the entry of Raed Harazin’s body nearly four days after his death in an Egyptian hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Harazin, a leader in Jihad Movement, had traveled recently to Egypt to receive medical treatment. However, he breathed his last on Thursday.
Egypt has maintained the closure of Rafah crossing for most of the past three years, since the ouster of President Muhammad Morsi in 2013 and the rise to power of Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi.
